At our recent YHA Board meeting, Chris Hayman relayed good information about the next exhibit. The Exhibit Committee met in mid-August and made quite a few decisions which we share here.
Note the following dates on your calendars:
Thursday, October 15th - Registration forms, fees and jpegs (for publicity) are due.
Friday, November 20th - Drop off & Hanging for the show
Saturday, November 21st - Show opens.
Sunday, January 3rd - Take down show & pick-up
Registration fees will remain at $35 for up to 3 entries.
The date of the Artists' Reception and the judge are to be determined. The Announcement with precise details and the Registration Form will be sent later this month.
*exact dates the exhibit will be open will be forthcoming. There are closures due to Thanksgiving and the holiday break.
It has been suggested by the Norris staff that people are in the market to purchase holiday themed paintings for themselves or for gifting. It was mentioned they could have sold a dozen of the painting of Ed Zack as Santa. Where Warmth Gathers suggests lots of possibilities! The artwork below may inspire your creativity.
